European Music Therapy Day activities organised in the United Kingdom. 


Celebrate European Music Therapy Day!

When: Thursday 15 November 2018, 1.00-2.00pm

Where: Carole Nash Recital Room, RNCM, 124 Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9RD

What: RNCM students taking the research elective 'How music helps: Introduction to music therapy' and Nordoff-Robbins trainee music therapists (based at the RNCM) are invited to meet and get to know each other over lunch.

This is an opportunity to learn more about music therapy work, to ask questions and share experiences. We will also observe some music therapy work on video and discuss.

Please bring your lunch (purchased at the RNCM café) or a packed lunch, and come prepared to talk music therapy!

Tea and coffee will be provided.

Who: The session is organised by Dr John Habron (Head of Music Education, RNCM) and the Nordoff-Robbins music therapy training team, who will have further information on Nordoff-Robbins events and careers in music therapy.
